The Home Learner's Bookstore is a small family business run by a home school family of six in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The Sherburne Family have been home schooling their children for four years and are happy to share with you how Christ centered, home based learning has enriched their lives.
The Home Learner's Bookstore was created to provide an alternative to the costly expense of purchasing new materials as well as to provide an outlet and opportunity to re-sell materials that often fill our closets and bookshelves after use - and sometimes, never even used.

Unfortunately, due to the ever changing and large quantity of materials we have, we do not keep a listing of book titles. However, if you are looking for books for specific grades or subject matter, we will do our best to research our inventory to meet your selection.

Our books are priced according to the condition and publication date of the item. Sometimes books of secular nature or uncommom titles may be greatly reduced for re-sale purposes.

We GREATLY WELCOME and DEPEND UPON materials coming into the store to keep our stock growing and to ensure that we have a variety for our customers . . . including you!
We deal mainly in Christian-based curriculum, but will take the following items as well: Any learning tools or materials of a generic nature (as long as the subject matter is not contrary to the majority of our standards); learning resources such as games, flash cards, aps, art supplies, novels geared toward young readers, dictionaries and other resource books, preschool and elementary books, cassette instructional, videos . . . use your imagination.
We price our materials according to our pricing policy and we pay fifty percent (50%) of the store price to you! Our checks are disbursed on an average of every two weeks for materials sold during that time. We also have a free box for items that are unmatchable or singular in nature or discards from libraries.
The Home Learner's Bookstore reserves the right to reject any unrelated subject matter in order to preserve the criteria of standards we have set forth for your enjoyment and protection. We also reserve the right to determine (on occasion) if some materials are unmatchable or unusable, therefore offering it in our free resource section, or asking below standard price for quick sale.
If you are not satisfied with your order, simply contact us within thirty (30) days of purchase for a full refund. (Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse for shipping charges.)
